SAFEAIR NITROX COURSES IN CORFU

SAFEAIR DIVER (SAD)

This program introduces the concepts of enriched air diving, explains the basis for the limits and restrictions of use and enables those certified as ANDI Limited SafeAir Users to receive the full benefits of breathing cleaner gas and enhanced safety.

Covers the information necessary to make use of 4 of the 8 ANDI-identified applications of SafeAir within sport diving limits. Those completing this course are certified to use SafeAir 22% until 40%. This program requires 4-7 hours of lecture and two open water orientation \ training dives.

COMPLETE SAFEAIR USER (CSU)

Builds upon and expands the material introduced in the Limited SafeAir Diver course. Covers the information necessary to make use of all 8 of the ANDI-identified applications of SafeAir within sport diving limits. Those completing this course are certified to use all SafeAir mixtures, including SafeAir 50. This program requires 8 -12 hours of lecture and two open water orientation \ training dives.

Note: Part one (classroom) and part two (open water) are to be completed satisfactorily prior to Limited SafeAir User and Complete SafeAir User certification. A part one certification may be issued upon satisfactory completion of all classroom requirements.

This certification may be used to complete the two logged SafeAir dives required for full certification.

CAVERN RESCUE DIVER (CVN)

ANDI Cavern Diver is a Level 2 training program covering all aspects of diving under an overhead environment within the light zone.

The certified diver of this program may use air or Nitrox mixtures to 30m within the daylight zone of a cave entrance or cavern with less than 15m of penetration.

SAFEAIR WRECK DIVER (SWD)

This is a Level 2 program covering all aspects of wreck diving and specialized equipment while utilizing SafeAir for bottom time & safety benefits. 

Since it is advanced recreational in nature, no penetration or decompression is permitted (these skills are covered in the Level-III Wreck course, TWD).

CLOSED CIRCUIT REBREATHER DIVER (CCR LEVEL 2)

This is a complete product & specific program which enables the certified diver to crossover to this superior electronic technology. Structured for recreational scuba applications, this training and associated product limits the user to 30 msw and "no-stop-required" profiles.

The breathing media is SafeAir (Enriched-Air Nitrox) and therefore, this course encompasses the basic concepts of SafeAir. This training is available to all  certified divers. This 3-part format consists of 18 hours of lecture, 4 hours of confined environment training and 6-8 open water dives conducted under direct instructor supervision. The total accrued bottom time for this course must be not less than 300 minutes.
