DIVER MEDIC SERIES

RESCUE DIVER (RSD)

The Rescue Diver program was formulated to give all divers a better understanding of how to assist themselves and their buddy in order to deal with and prevent emergency situations.

This course is a required course for Dive Medic.

Pre-requisite: ANDI AOW certified and have 25-dives logged.

FIRST AID (FAP)

This program consists of theory and practice covering all basic first aid technique found in most programs of its kind.

Additionally, it focuses in on injuries and illnesses that could be prevalent in the aquatic environment such as diving issues, toxic marine life, drowning, seasickness and more.

CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION (CPR) 

This program provides similar training and skills as other CPR programs. It is up-to-date in that it reflects the changes that American Heart Association, American Red Cross and the NSC are made.

OXYGEN PROVIDER (OXP)

This program covers all aspects of providing Oxygen during an emergency for divers.

Basic physiology, procedures, equipment and record-keeping are discussed and practised in detail.
